The heavens, the stars, destinies even - used to war;
Now they all bow;
At the mention of the name of Jesus.
Hmmm.
Before the stars began to war,
Joseph prophesied that they would bow saying:
behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.
Genesis 37:9.
Joseph spoke of himself - him being a foreshadow of Jesus.
Later we see the stars fighting from heaven;
from their courses they fought against Sisera.
Judges 5:20.
But there’s good news.
Jesus did not take advantage of His equality with God.
Rather He humbled himself, even unto death.
Therefore, God highly exalted Him,
and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name.
So that at the name of Jesus,
EVERY KNEE WILL BOW
of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS
that Jesus Christ is YHWH,
to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11.
Here is what this means.
Whenever I take the place of He,
who took the place of me,
every knee bows.
and every tongue vows,
that Jesus is YHWH,
to the glory of God the Father.
Has it begun to make sense?
