Laws that control how we behave are a sign of some problem.
For example, in a normal family with parents and children,
parents may make laws like, “do your homework before playing video games”.
However, parents do not make laws like: “do not kill your mother”.
So why do countries make such laws?
Why did God give the Israelites the law saying: “thou shall not kill”?
Hmmm.
There must have been some serious problems for the 10 commandments to be needed.
Likewise, countries have so many laws, that from a spiritual view, there must be some really big problem with humans.
That problem is why Jesus Christ came.
The bible records that those who believe in Jesus Christ have put away their old person which was corrupt,
and have put on a new person which is created after Yahweh in holiness.
When the bible says that we are not under the law,
It doesn’t mean that we are allowed to steal or kill.
Rather, just like a normal human family does not need laws like: “do not kill”.
Much more does the holy family of Yahweh not need any law.
Has it begun to make sense?
